Voices of Women from the Medina is a series of testimonies from Tunisian women where they share their experiences of working, living and studying in the Medina of Tunis and showcase the significance that the Medina plays in their lives. It is part of the FEMMEDINA Inclusive City Program that examines participatory, gender-sensitive approaches to urban planning.

In this video, artist Zeineb Kaabi explains how the dynamic and, at the same time, also stagnant life in the Medina is shaping her art and young women's life in the Medina. She also shares her perspective on why the Medina is an art in itself.

You can read into more voices from the Medina here (part 1 and part 2), and also listen into part 1, part 2 and part 4 of our little video series.
