Voices of Women from the Medina is a series of testimonies from Tunisian women where they share their experiences of working, living and studying in the Medina of Tunis and showcase the significance that the Medina plays in their lives. It is part of the FEMMEDINA Inclusive City Program that examines participatory, gender-sensitive approaches to urban planning. Read the final report of the participatory assessment here.

In the first video, accountant Abir Saidi explains how the Medina allows to always discover something new. "As a woman, you have to make sacrifices if you want to live here", she explains.  Watch her testimony in this short video.
