Environmental Sustainability Challenges from a Gender Perspective

Women and girls are often further exposed and vulnerable to climate change effects, while also holding a key role in mitigation and adaptation initiatives at the household, community, and city level. 

This event organised by Cariplo Foundation and Women20, will provide a platform to discuss the challenges and opportunities arising from the relation between gender inequality and climate action.

Cities Alliance will be represented by Giulia Maci, Cities for Women Programme lead on the roundtable "Innovative tools and ideas for accelerating Sustainable Development Goals 5 and 11".
