Cities Alliance participates in the FfD4 in Seville, Spain.

The 4th International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4) will convene global leaders from government, international institutions, the private sector, and civil society at a critical moment for the 2030 Agenda. Held from 30 June to 3 July 2025 in Seville, Spain, the event will focus on reshaping the global financing system to unlock the resources needed for sustainable and inclusive development.

FFD4 aims to reshape the international financial system to mobilise more capital at lower costs. The conference will serve as a platform for actionable commitments to accelerate investment in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in the world’s most vulnerable regions.

Cities Alliance will bring a local perspective to these discussions, highlighting the need to invest in secondary cities, improve access to climate finance for informal settlements, and promote integrated urban development as a driver of stability and resilience. Our engagement at FfD4 includes:
