“Mini-CAP” workshops are developed around the same participatory principles as the upgrading CAPs, but are very short and more focused. They provided a quick way to build and reinforce community cohesion, and offered city-wide exposure and interest. Activities that may become the topics for “Mini-CAPs” include small lane improvements, lane cleaning projects, entertainment programmes, and health and education projects. Mini-CAP: Wenhua Li Dong Lane “Blossoms” The workshop was a joint collaboration of the Wenhua Li Dong community, the YFCC, and the Yangzhou Municipal Government, organized by the iYET Team of the Eco City Planning and Management Programme. |
